A concrete tilt-up wall panel connects to the steel roof deck assembly with an angle brace placed per plan, requiring a minimum of four braces per panel. The steel joists bear below the roof deck, with member sizes sized per plan. A three-sided three-sixteenths-inch fillet weld secures the angle brace to the framing components, maintaining a maximum one-inch clearance to the wall panel. An embedded plate in the concrete panel secures the connection, and an accompanying note specifies that if the angle brace is located at an embed required by detail nine on sheet S501, an additional embed is not required.
