An angle bracing member connects to a structural steel beam via a one-half-inch gusset plate welded to the beam web with quarter-inch fillet welds. The brace fastens to the gusset plate using four seven-eighth-inch diameter bolts in standard holes. The work point aligns the centerlines of the intersecting members within specified dimensional clearances.
