A cold-formed steel stud wall terminates at a wide-flange edge beam supporting a roof deck. The cold-formed steel stud wall uses a sixteen-gauge clip at each stud, fastened with three powder-actuated fasteners to the continuous angle and four number ten screws to the stud. A continuous L5x3x1/4 angle with long legs horizontal is welded to the wide-flange edge beam with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld spaced at twelve inches on center.
