Metal deck closure plate assemblies at building edges are supported by wide-flange steel framing, featuring both deck parallel and deck perpendicular conditions. Concrete fill sits over the metal deck with a two-inch minimum thickness and a three-quarter-inch clear cover. A bent plate is secured per schedule with two headed anchor studs at each mullion location. Additional reinforcing bars with standard hooks are provided at the deck end alongside typical reinforcement, sized in gauges from number three to number four bars spaced at twelve or six inches on center depending on the edge distance dimension. Beam stiffener plates and angle sections such as L6x3x3/8 with two three-quarter-inch diameter studs and five-inch embedment are incorporated where deck stiffener plates occur.
