A buckling-restrained braced frame connection features a V-shaped gusset plate assembly anchored to a base plate. CoreBrace buckling-restrained braces connect via gusset plates with specified bolt diameters, edge distances, and weld sizes. Half-inch stiffener plates reinforce both sides of the gusset plate above the base plate. The base plate rests on a concrete foundation with a concrete block-out at the surrounding slab on grade.
