A twenty-four-inch diameter cast-in-place concrete pier is reinforced with six number six vertical bars with ninety-degree hooks into the footing. The pier includes three number four ties at three inches on center at the top, and the balance spaced at twelve inches on center. Vertical bar splices require a fifteen-inch lap, staggered one hundred eighty degrees. The top of the pier elevation is sized per plan.
