A structural steel beam connects to a support via a typical shear tab located on the end of the beam web. The connection incorporates a three-inch long slotted hole minimum to allow for movement or adjustment. Fasteners secure through the shear tab and beam web as sized per plan. Minimum clearance dimensions are maintained at the beam ends.
