A 2-inch standard steel pipe brace connects to a structural steel channel and angle assembly per plan, utilizing a 3/8-inch by 6-inch square steel plate centered on the anchor plate. The pipe brace is welded to the 3/8-inch square steel plate with a 3/16-inch typical fillet weld maintaining a 3-inch minimum clearance. The channel and angle members are tied back to an existing concrete wall per plan via a plate connection secured with through-bolts. A 1/4-inch fillet weld secures the connection components with a maximum 12-inch spacing dimension.
