A wide flange beam connects to another wide flange beam using a WT shape with a three-inch at twelve-inch weld pattern. A one-quarter-inch stiffener plate is placed on each side at four feet zero inches, spaced six inches from each end of the WT. Welds connect the WT to the beam with a three-sixteenths fillet weld size.
