Electrical conduit is limited to a maximum outside diameter of one and one-half inches and must be installed within the center of a single deck flute. Only one conduit is permitted per flute, with two adjacent flutes required to remain empty on each side. The conduit must be secured to the slab reinforcing steel using tie wire, ensuring the reinforcing steel is neither raised nor lowered during installation. A minimum spacing of three feet is required between conduits in each direction. Floor outlet blockouts must be positioned to avoid interference with the slab reinforcing steel.
