A continuous metal track anchors to an existing concrete slab using Hilti X-U shot pins spaced at sixteen inches on center. The bottom track uses a minimum eighteen gauge for full-height partition walls. Metal studs secure to the continuous track at each flange with number ten screws. Gypsum board attaches directly to the track according to architectural drawings.
