A concrete curb frames a roof opening and bears on a structural steel beam. Number four Z-bars spaced at sixteen inches on center are reinforced with continuous number four top and bottom bars. A sixteen gauge Z-closure member is provided beneath the concrete assembly, interfacing with a ledger angle supported by the steel beam per detail 8D on sheet S.1-501.
