Steel beam framing connections utilize clip angles bolted to supporting steel columns and intersecting steel beams. The steel beam web connects to the clip angles using rows of vertical fasteners with minimum edge distances and standard three-inch spacings. Corresponding clip angles are secured to the steel tube column flange or web to transfer shear loads. Additional beam-to-beam framing configurations show similar bolted clip angle arrangements joining parallel or perpendicular structural members typical of steel framing details.
