Embed angles anchor to concrete slab edges at stair and elevator openings. The assembly features an L5x4x1/4 angle with 1/2-inch diameter by 6-inch welded headed studs spaced at 18 inches on center and 6 inches from each end at the notched slab condition, alongside an L6x4x1/4 angle with 1/2-inch diameter by 6-inch welded headed studs spaced at 12 inches on center at general elevator or stair openings. Additional number 4 reinforcing bars extend 24 inches past the embed with standard hooks provided at the slab edge, complemented by number 4 bars at 24 inches long in A706 grade spaced at 18 inches on center plus 6 inches from each end. A 3/4-inch chamfer is formed at the top outside corner of the notched slab condition.
