A buckling-restrained braced frame base plate connection for a wide-flange column sized per the frame elevation and orientation plan is provided. The square base plate features a specified thickness per schedule and a centrally located two-inch grout hole as needed. Twelve anchor bolts equipped with uplift washers are spaced at eight-inch increments around the perimeter, featuring one-and-three-eighths-inch nuts on threaded rebar anchors fully developed into the footing below. Complete joint penetration welds connect the column flanges to the base plate.
