A concrete slab T-joint is reinforced with a vertical number four reinforcing bar positioned with one inch clearance from the top of the slab and one inch clearance along the joint face. The vertical bar extends one foot six inches above and below the intersecting slab plane. Dimensional callouts establish the precise placement and clearances for the joint interface.
