Structural steel beam-to-beam moment connections for both same-depth beams and shallower beams framing into a supporting beam comprise complete-joint-penetration welds at the top and bottom flanges, alongside bolted web plates for same-depth beams. For shallower beams, a web plate and bolts connect the webs, while the flange transition utilizes a slotted web detail with a plate through the slot when the web thickness is less than seventy-five percent of the flange thickness. Fillet welds and specific weld symbols are indicated where applicable. A note directs the user to see the connection schedule for sizing and additional requirements.
