This cast-in-place concrete stair assembly features number 3 nosing bars placed at each step and number 3 reinforcing bars spaced at twelve inches on center each way within the structural slab. The stair waist has a six-inch thickness, set over a base of ninety percent compacted fill. The concrete footing at the base of the stair measures ten inches minimum width with two number 4 bottom reinforcing bars and extends one foot minimum below grade. A concrete slab or asphalt concrete paving connects at the base per the site plan.
