A concrete deck bears on a structural steel beam sized per plan with a minimum two-inch bearing length on a continuous L6x4x3/8 angle. The angle features one-quarter-inch stiffener plates spaced at four feet on center top and bottom, welded with one-quarter-inch welds at four to twelve inches. Number four continuous rebar and number four bent dowels at twenty-four inches on center lap with the concrete deck reinforcement at each end.
