Five steel beams frame into a central structural steel column in a plan configuration featuring both orthogonal and skewed alignments. Each beam connects to the column via a bolted connection detailed per sheet 8/S5-00 unless noted otherwise on plan. Top and bottom stiffener plates are provided at the column connections per standard details. Welds at the column web and flange junctions are specified as partial joint penetration full depth. The beams are sized per the structural plans.
