A Type B chord section utilizes a web plate designated as "t1" fastened with bolts, combined with outside flange plates designated as "t2" top and bottom. High-strength bolts secure the outside flange plates through multiple layers of material. A typical spacing of one and a half inches is maintained per note 6. Additional connections are detailed according to note 3.
