A concrete equipment foundation pad supports mechanical or electrical equipment secured via expansion anchors anchored into the top of the concrete pad. The foundation slab is reinforced with number 6 rebar at twelve inches on center each way, top and bottom, maintaining three inches of concrete clear cover. The exterior slab-on-grade is kept isolated from the footing with a separation joint. The bottom of the footing is founded at a minimum of two feet six inches below finish grade, with six inches minimum clearance and footing depth dimensions specified.
