A wide-flange steel beam connects to a concrete stemwall using a full-depth shear tab aligned with a wide-flange beam on the opposite side. The connection is secured with three three-quarter-inch-diameter ASTM A325 bolts centered in two-inch vertical slotted holes. The assembly includes a dedicated connection plate embedded in the concrete stemwall as referenced in the structural drawings.
