A hollow structural section steel column is welded to a multi-bolt steel base plate set over a structural steel embed plate. Steel plate washers are provided at the anchor bolt locations, with side plates welded per the buckling-restrained braced frame supplier. Dimensions include two and a quarter inch offsets and a half inch clearance gap.
