The structural steel framing assembly for the generator west platform consists of C10X15.3 channel sections supported by HSS4X4X3/8 hollow structural section columns with L3X3X1/4 angle bracing. A guardrail specified per detail 24 on sheet S-502 is positioned with a one-inch maximum gap relative to the platform edge. The assembly maintains a top of steel elevation of eighty-one feet, five and one-half inches, with a channel spacing dimension of two feet, four inches and five-eighths inch clearances on each side. The generator unit itself is coordinated per electrical drawings.
