An elevator rail support post framing connection is anchored to a wide-flange steel beam and composite metal deck. A plate measuring three-eighths by four inches by nine inches secures to the deck edge with two three-quarter-inch-diameter adhesive anchors having a four-inch embedment. A threshold angle provided by the elevator supplier interfaces with the elevator shaft walls. Below the beam, two L3x5x3/8 angles connect using a single three-quarter-inch-diameter A307 thru-bolt centered in two-and-a-half-inch-long vertical slotted holes, where nuts are finger-tightened and threads deformed. Diagonal bracing frames into the assembly below, with typical fillet welds noted on the structural steel connections.
