A reinforced concrete grade beam measuring six feet wide by three feet deep supports an intersecting concrete wall above. Six continuous number six rebars run longitudinally along the top and bottom of the grade beam section. Number three ties spaced at twelve inches on center with alternating hooks enclose the longitudinal reinforcement. Number four dowels spaced at twenty-four inches on center extend from the grade beam up into the wall above to provide structural continuity.
