An MC8x intermediate horizontal screen wall channel connects to supporting members via typical L4x4x3/8 by 0'-6" structural steel angles with two three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolts. A 3/8-inch plate with two three-quarter-inch diameter machine bolts ties the assembly together. Fillet welds sized at one-quarter inch are applied on three sides at the connection points, incorporating a typical two-inch return.
