A horizontal truss connects to a vertical roof beam using a bolted connection plate sized per the horizontal truss schedule. The connection plate spans across the members and is secured with multiple rows of bolts on each side of the joint. Clearances of three-quarters of an inch maximum are maintained along the centerline layout.
