An HSS6x4 structural post supports upper and lower HSS8x3 and HSS8x4 girts, framing into the edge of a composite concrete slab and wide-flange beam assembly. A half-inch thick stiffener plate centered on the post connects to the slab edge using a plate with five-eighths inch diameter erection bolts and a quarter-inch fillet weld on three sides typically. Additional framing includes cold-formed metal framing and curtain wall interfaces located per architectural plans. A note specifies that composite slab reinforcing is omitted for clarity.
