Steel beams frame into a steel joist supporting a metal roof deck, sized per plan. An L4x4x3/8 angle clip, provided by the joist supplier, connects the steel beam web to the steel joist. Fasteners secure the angle clip to the beam web. Metal roof deck bears continuously across the top chords of the joist and beam assembly.
