An elevator door sill support angle is provided by the elevator manufacturer adjacent to the shaft centerline, with the shaft dimensions field-verified. A 5/16-inch bent plate spans the full width of the shaft and is anchored with 1/2-inch diameter by 1'-6" welded deformed bar anchors spaced at 15 inches on center. The assembly incorporates reinforcement sized per plan and connects to a supporting steel beam with a 1/4-inch fillet weld.
