A 3x top plate nailer is secured to the steel angle sub-purlins using number fourteen by two-inch wood screws spaced at twelve inches on center staggered at each angle. The sub-purlins are spaced at twenty-four inches on center and bear on the roof truss purlin. Two rows of fasteners are utilized at continuous edge spacing, requiring four lines where staggered and six lines where three lines of nailing are specified.
