A structural steel kicker brace connects to the web of a wide-flange beam located below a metal deck. The brace framing member ties into an L3x3 angle clip with three number 12 screws secured through the clip leg. The angle clip is welded to the wide-flange beam web with fillet welds. A note directs the builder to sheet 17 for the kicker connection to the deck.
