Continuous hollow structural section blocking is detailed at the top of the steel assembly per 8/S05-02, bearing above a horizontal steel beam stiffened with a three-eighths-inch full-depth stiffener plate. Bottom flange bracing is provided where shown on plan per 11/S05-02. Vertical C8x11.5 steel channels spaced at forty-eight inches on center act as infill with metal studs. A quarter-inch bent plate measuring one foot long is installed at three feet on center to anchor the exterior wall assembly below the top of steel level.
