A concrete slab on metal deck terminates at a continuous twelve gauge edge form reinforced with two number four continuous bars and number three bars at twelve inches on center. The deck bears on an edge beam sized per plan with a three-eighths inch pour stop plate. A continuous angle measuring five by five by three-eighths inches is spaced at ten feet maximum and aligned with the beam on the opposite side, welded with a one-quarter inch fillet weld on two sides. A clearance of one-half inch typical and two inches minimum is maintained.
