A concrete dock leveler pit recess is formed in a concrete floor slab. Metal mounting angles line the edges and base of the pit recess to provide proper edge protection and anchoring. The concrete placement and dimensions are coordinated with the dock leveler manufacturer instructions. A dimension line indicates the required pit opening size relative to the finish floor elevation.
