An exterior concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a slab-on-grade with a minimum thickness of six inches. The pad features number three dowels with standard ninety-degree hooks at twelve inches on center at the perimeter and twenty-four inches on center each way at the interior. Internal reinforcement consists of number three bars at twelve inches on center each way with one and a half inches of typical clearance. Vertical corners include a three-quarter-inch chamfer. Half-inch diameter by four-inch deep holes are drilled, cleaned, and epoxied to anchor the dowels in place. A continuous L4x3x1/4 long-leg-vertical angle with headed anchor studs at eighteen inches on center is detailed at the edge.
