An HSS8x6 beam connects to an HSS14x6 structural steel stringer using a one-half-inch end plate welded to the end of the beam. A partial end plate detail is provided at the connection interface, referencing typical HSS-to-HSS connection details on sheet S6.1. The assembly accommodates intersecting hollow structural sections with aligned member profiles as shown in View A-A.
