The narrow and wide concrete curbs are cast monolithically or doweled into a deck and fill slab per plan with a one-quarter inch amplitude roughened joint at the interface. The narrow curb profile features a five and one-half inch minimum to eight inch maximum top width, a maximum height of one foot six inches, and is reinforced with number four vertical bars at twelve inches on center with standard hooks extending into the deck. The wide curb profile features a maximum width of one foot three inches, a maximum height of one foot six inches, and is reinforced with number four hairpins at twelve inches on center with one and one-half inch typical clearance. Both curb types include longitudinal number four bars at twelve inches on center.
