A structural steel beam frames into a concrete wall with horizontal long slotted holes in the beam web. The beam is supported at a panel joint condition where concrete covers the metal floor deck between beams. A series of headed stud anchors are spaced along the embedment plate to match the diaphragm reinforcement spacing per schedule. Fillet welds of one-quarter inch are specified on three sides typically.
