A bottom flange brace frames into the web of a structural steel drag beam. The drag beam is tied to an overlying concrete and steel deck assembly using headed shear stud anchors sized per plan. A diagonal bottom flange brace connects to a gusset plate welded or bolted to the drag beam web per plan and coordinated with sheet S1.3. Grid alignment and deck specifications are maintained per structural plans.
