This structural section details concrete slab on grade conditions including a capillary break, vapor retarder, and reinforcement sized per plan. An interior stud wall bears on a continuous sixteen-gauge track anchored to the slab with powder-actuated fasteners at sixteen inches on center. A separate cast-in-place concrete housekeeping pad for mechanical and electrical equipment is doweled into the slab with number four bars at eighteen inches on center each way, embedded three inches minimum with epoxy and maintaining a two-inch clearance. Additional continuous number four nosing bars are provided at the pad edge per mechanical and electrical drawings.
