A structural steel frame constructed from hollow structural section HSS 4x4x1/4 members spaced at four feet maximum on center provides support for the level 1 cafe countertop. The frame features L4x4x1/4 angles at the top supporting the counter assembly, welded with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds on each side. The vertical HSS support is anchored at the base with an embed plate measuring three-eighths by eight by eight inches, secured by four half-inch diameter by six-inch studs at four-inch gauge spacing. All structural steel connections are welded with three-sixteenths inch fillet welds.
