The assembly consists of a four-inch diameter standard pipe column standing four feet tall, finished with a three-sixteenths-inch thick steel cap secured by a flush weld. The column is welded to a one-half-inch by ten-inch by ten-inch square steel base plate using a one-quarter-inch fillet weld. This plate is anchored into the concrete slab using four three-quarter-inch diameter Titen-HD screw anchors, which are embedded five inches deep. The base plate edges must be ground smooth to eliminate sharp corners, and the entire bollard is to be painted safety yellow.
