This structural connection detail shows a cross-laminated timber deck notched to accommodate a face plate connection and a drag plate connection at a wide-flange steel column. Four 1-inch diameter 8 UNC welded threaded studs pass through 1-3/8-inch diameter oversized holes and feature typical 1-1/2-inch square by 3/8-inch thick plate washers. Two SDCF27400 screws are installed at 6 inches on center with a maximum spacing of 3 inches. A 5/16-inch fillet weld secures the assembly.
