A reinforced concrete pilaster is supported by a concrete footing and foundation wall. The thirty-two-inch square concrete column features eight number nine vertical bars enclosed by number four ties at four inches on center typical unless noted otherwise, with a roughened cold joint surface providing one-quarter-inch amplitude. A steel column is anchored atop the concrete pilaster with base plate and anchor bolts sized per the foundation plan. The surrounding concrete slab bears above the footing with standard clearance dimensions.
