A structural detail of a stair midlanding hanger support connection suspended from a steel floor beam. A steel beam equipped with a web stiffener receives a hanger member and connection at its centerline, provided by the stair supplier. The hanger member extends down to a broken back hollow structural section or channel stair stringer and an HSS or channel landing beam. The connection occurs at the centerline of the floor beam, with alternative details specified if the stair landing beam is eccentric from the floor beam above. The stair deck is omitted for clarity, and an adequate alternative proposed by the stair supplier is also acceptable.
