A wide flange steel column is encased within a rectangular concrete profile featuring vertical reinforcement bars and ties placed per the schedule. Typical stirrups and close-ties enclose the perimeter reinforcing bars around the central wide flange shape. The exterior concrete corners include three-quarter-inch chamfers as a typical detail.
