A post-tensioned concrete slab transitions at a plaza deck over a two-foot slab transition zone. The assembly includes post-tensioned concrete slabs sized per plan, with PT tendons and primary slab reinforcing as specified. Four number four bars are placed in the top of the slab, accompanied by number four bars at three feet long spaced at twelve inches on center. A Z-bar per detail twenty on sheet S5.30 anchors the transition, while the bottom reinforcing size and spacing match the main slab. A topping slab per plan sits above with weatherproofing provided per the architectural drawings, and the exterior slab slopes as required.
